# Sensus

Sensus publishes license records for service businesses of every kind, including trades, professional practices, and other licensed firms.
A page states who the business is, the license status, the issuing source, and the as-of date.
Public records are grouped by state, then city, then service category, then business: https://sensus.so/license
The service category is a normalized field when the record has one. Until that field is present, the category is the license type. If both are absent, the category is unknown.
A category page is indexed only when it meets the existing floors. A business page is indexed when an active official license record backs it, in released stages: Florida architecture firms and Connecticut healthcare facilities and agencies. SAM.gov rows are grouped by NAICS service category and the business address state.
