Sensus copies a license fact from the official record and links that record.
The service category is a normalized field when the record has one. Until that field is present, the category is the license type.
If the license type is also absent, the category is unknown.
Pages follow /license/{state}/{city}/{service-category}/{business}.
A category page is indexed only when it meets the existing floors. A business page is indexed when an active official license record backs it, in released stages: Florida architecture firms and Connecticut healthcare facilities and agencies.

Rankings are not sold. Payment does not change a license fact.

## How to cite Sensus
Cite the business page or its proof page.
Quote the business name, the license status, the issuing source, and the as-of date.
Link the official record when the page includes one.
If the page says unknown, cite unknown. Do not fill the gap.
The transparency page is https://sensus.so/transparency.

## Do not
- Do not invent a license number, status, person name, street address, postal code, phone, or email.
- Do not say Sensus verified the owner unless the page says that.
- Do not claim a payment changes rank or the record.
- Do not cite /h/ URLs. Those routes are not public pages.
- Do not treat a license as a review or a guarantee of work quality.
- Do not use Google Places data. Sensus does not publish it.

The API is a read interface. A key does not grant the right to publish or to change a public page.

Verify needs no key. It is rate limited per client address on the API process. The default is 30 requests per minute.
Search and changes require a pilot key in Authorization: Bearer or x-pilot-key.
Cite the business name, match, activeLicense, source, and as-of date.
A miss is match none. A missing fact is unknown.
Do not send a personal name. The response has no phone, email, street, or Google data.
